The Jim Hogan Memorial Foundation was created with one goal in mind; to continue Jim’s Legacy through fundraising for charities and causes that align with Jim’s lifelong passions. For the inaugural Jim Hogan Memorial Foundation event, we’ve decided to hold a golf outing to raise funds for the Dick’s Sporting Goods Foundation, Sports Matter, whose mission is to inspire and enable sports participation in underprivileged communities. In their words, “Sports builds character, increase confidence, motivate kids to stay in school and aim for higher education, teaching life lessons that extend well beyond the playing field. But not everyone has the same access to play sports. “We could not think of a better organization to work with for this event, given how dedicated Jim was to youth sports for nearly all his adult life. Through this partnership, we hope to raise funds that can be directed toward disadvantaged communities to give each child a chance to start their athletic life from the same starting line.
